In-Home Therapy is a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a clinician and the youth/family for the purpose of treating the youth's behavioral health needs, which includes improving the family's ability to provide effective support for the youth.
SUMMARY OF IN-HOME THERAPIST'S RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide family therapy services to clients and families with MassHealth and Commercial insurance policies needing more intensive support than traditional individual therapy provides.
* Work with the entire family, or a subset of the family, to implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques: enhance communication and problem-solving, build skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, improve ineffective patterns of interaction, identify and utilize community resources, and develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent/care giver(s) to promote sustained treatment gains. Practice limit-setting, and conduct risk management/safety planning
* Lead clinical intake meetings, focusing on goal setting, engagement and gathering history
* Provide ongoing interventions to support stabilization of child and family
* Consult with team members
* Complete ongoing documentation requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Master's Degree required for Lead Clinician (authorized degrees include: Counseling, Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling/Expressive Arts, Expressive Therapies, Psychology, and Social Work)
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children
Additional roles available to provide Therapeutic Mentoring and Therapeutic Training and Support for individuals with BA degrees or High School Diplomas
